He was born Dec. 22, 1922, in Astoria, a son of Hallie and Nellie Hendee Horner.
Surviving are caregivers Larry (and Patricia) Thomas of Astoria; and several cousins.
He was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.
He worked construction.
He was a member of Laborers Local 231 of Pekin and Astoria Church of the Nazarene.
Graveside services were held Tuesday at Astoria Cemetery with Tony Clements officiating. Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria was in charge of arrangements.
