David Hezlep

David L. Hezlep, 51, of Cuba died at 3:25 p.m. July 31, 2011, at St. Francis Medical Center Emergency Room in Peoria.

He was born Nov. 3, 1959, in Canton, a son of Carroll and Mary Bolendar Hezlep. She married Cindy Baldock on May 30, 1992, in Lewistown. She survives.

Also surviving are one son, Nathan Hezlep at home; two daughters, Angela (and Jamie) Carver and Amy (Mario) Diaz, both of Pensacola, Fla.; two stepsons, Ryan Twitchell of Peoria and James Tonelli at home; one stepdaughter, Brandy (and Tony) Freidt of West Fargo, N.D.; three brothers, William (and Margaret) Hezlep of Marion, Don (and Debbie) Hezlep of Dixon, Mo., and Mark Hezlep; and six grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He worked in maintenance at Keystone Steel and Wire in Bartonville.

Cremation will be accorded. Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Apple Cemetery in rural Lewistown with Reverend Kathy Barrett officiating. There will be no visitation. Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Cuba is in charge of arrangements.
