Ida Hart

Ida A. Hart, 84, of Cuba died at 11:08 a.m. Oct. 15, 2006, at Graham Hospital.

She was born March 23, 1922, in Rush Run, Ohio, a daughter of Roscoe and Jeanne Kerr Nelson. She married Charles F. Hart on April 25, 1938, in Keokuk, Iowa. He died May 18, 1965.

She also was preceded in death by one grandson, two brothers and three sisters.

Surviving are two sons, Bill of Canton and Donald (and Karen) of Kansas City, Mo.; two daughters, Beverly (and William) Wallick of Eatonton, Ga., and Janice (and John) Churchill of Ellisville; one brother, Al (and Ardie) Nelson of Cuba; one sister, Marilyn (and Dean) Hall of Cuba; 10 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

She worked in housekeeping at Western Illinois University in Macomb before retiring.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Cuba with Rev. Jim Menne officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to services. Burial will be in Cuba Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Clayberg Nursing Home Activity Fund or any charity of the donor's choice.
