Chester E. Huntington, 62, of Chicago, formerly of Astoria, died at 10 p.m. Monday, Dec. 27, 2004, at Louis A. Weiss Memorial Hospital in Chicago.
He was born Aug. 1, 1942, in Astoria, a son of Chester V. and Emily Mae Huntington.
Surviving are one brother, Robert Gunter of Indiana; and seven sisters, Lois Chambers, Amy Chambers and Dixie Chambers, all of Illinois, Emma Jane (and Kenny) Edwards of Beardstown, Harriet Vilardo of Danville, Iowa, Mary (and Tim) Hackett of Cuba and Linda Shifflett of Pekin.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Judy Huntington.
Graveside services were held Friday at Astoria Cemetery with Rev. Clifford Parry officiating. Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria was in charge of arrangements.
