Anastasia GrateAnastasia Lynn Grate, infant daughter of Daniel and Amber Jelinek Grate of Industry, passed away peacefully in the arms of her mom and dad, Sept. 17, 2017, in the garden of St. Louis Children’s Hospital in St. Louis.

She was born at 5:56 a.m. July 25, 2017, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her maternal grandparents, Frank and Debbie Jelinek of Golden, Mo.; paternal grandparents, David and Georgia Grate of Rushville and Pat Grate of Dunlap; paternal great-grandparents, Joanne Grate and June Haines, both of Rushville; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

She loved to be swaddled as long as her hands were free to feel her ears. Mom and Dad’s voices had a calming effect on her.

A Service of Love was held Saturday at the Wood Funeral Home in Rushville with Reverend John Sowers officiating. Burial was in the Rushville City Cemetery.
