Barbara FishBarbara Elnora Fish, 51, of Rushville died at 12:48 p.m. Feb. 26, 2015, at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield.

She was born July 21, 1963, in Columbus, Ind., the daughter of Charles Edward and Mabel Ann Houpey Baker. She married Gregory S. Fish on Dec. 29, 1989, in Columbus, Ind. He survives.

Also surviving are one daughter, Jackie (and Peter) White of Tulsa, Okla.; her mother, Mabel Baker of Columbus, Ind.; two brothers, Donald (and Sue) Baker of Columbus, Ind., and Lonnie Baker of North Vernon, Ind.; and two grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father; one brother, Charles Baker Jr.; and her grandparents.

She graduated from Columbus East High School in 1981 and from IUPUI School of Nursing in 1990.

She was a registered nurse. She had worked at Four Seasons Nursing Home and Columbus Regional Hospital, both in Columbus, Ind.; Miller’s Merry Manor in Hope, Ind.; and Area 11 Agency on Aging in Columbus and Seymour, Ind.

She was a member of Rushville Free Methodist Church.

Funeral services were held Tuesday at Rushville Free Methodist Church with Rev. Ben Tolly, Rev. Greg Fish, Rev. Steve Neville and Rev. Peter White officiating. Additional funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday at Columbus Free Methodist Church in Columbus, Ind., with Rev. Greg Fish, Rev. Peter White and Rev. Chet Martin officiating. Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to the time of services on Thursday. Burial will be in Westport Cemetery in Westport, Ind.
