Agnes Fair

Agnes P. Fair, 89, of Canton died at 7:05 p.m. Saturday, May 7, 2005, at Renaissance Care Center of Canton.

She was born May 22, 1915, in Cuba, a daughter of Carl D. and Ferne E. McLellan Sexton. She married William E. Fair on May 29, 1932, in Vermont. He preceded her in death.

She also was preceded in death by two sons, Bennie and Bob.

Surviving are one brother, Carl Sexton of Tennessee; three sisters, Bettie La Rose of southern Illinois, and Vera Henry and Lillian Vaughn, both of Lewistown; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

She had worked for the Carllie Hotel in Spokane, Wash.

She was a member of the American Red Cross.

She was of the Baptist faith.

Services will be at 11 a.m. today at Oaks-Hines Funeral Home, where visitation will be one hour before. Rev. Willis Wilson will officiate. Burial will be in Vermont Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the Salvation Army.
