Eugene "Bob" CrumEugene R. "Bob" Crum, 83, of Lewistown died at 5:49 a.m. Sept. 5, 2012, at his residence.

He was born Sept. 23, 1928, in Indiana, a son of Robert and Blanche Yost Crum.

Surviving are Judy Shore with whom he shared his home; two children, Cheryl (and Doug) Shaw and Randy (and Teresa) Crum, both of Astoria; Judy's son, Doug (and Tara) Shore of Lewistown; four grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his mother and stepfather, Kenneth and Blanche Riddle and father and stepmother, Robert and Violet Crum; and one brother.

He was a master mechanic at AMAX Coal Co. in Vermont, retiring in 1984 and was a part-time farmer.

He was a U.S. veteran of the Korean War.

Services were held Friday at Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton with Rev. Rick Atchley officiating. Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery in Lewistown.
