Homer W. Curless, 73, of Peoria, died at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 16, 1999, at his residence.
He was born Dec. 16, 1925, in rural Astoria, the son of Clyde and Oga Shaw Curless. He married Georgia Dummler on Feb. 15, 1947, in Peoria. She survives.
Also surviving are three sons, David of Peoria, Michael of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and Paul of Lawrenceville, Ga.; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one sister.
A Caterpillar Inc. employee, he retired as a supervisor at the Mossville plant in 1986.
He was a member of Peoria Heights Congregational United Church of Christ.
Services were held Saturday at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel with the Rev. Dr. Tom Barth officiating. Burial was in Parkview Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to his church or Methodist Hospice.
