She was born May 27, 1943, in Canton, a daughter of Dwayne and Dorotha Perry Frederick. She married William R. Freeman on March 17, 1963. She later married James L. Arnett on April 15, 1975. She was preceded in death by both husbands.
She also was preceded in death by her parents.
Surviving are one daughter, Cris Freeman (and Harold) Sheets of Lewistown; two sons, Eric Freeman of Lewistown and Matthew (and companion Brenda Trimpe) Arnett of Peoria; one sister, Carol Tippey (and Jim) Woollums of Canton; and seven grandchildren.
She graduated from Lewistown Community High School in 1961. She was a retired school bus driver for Lewistown School districts. She also had worked at National Bank of Lewistown, the State of Illinois as a clerk at the State House and a bartender in the local area.
She was a member of WIBC Bowling Association and Jobs Daughters.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Lewistown with Rev. Greg Ogle officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery in Lewistown. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday at the memorial home.
