Edward Walsh

Edward John Walsh, 86, formerly of Arlington Heights, died Feb. 14, 2023, at JourneyCare at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights.

He was born Dec. 5, 1936, in Chicago, the son of Edward and Charlotte nee Moakler Walsh. He married Teresa nee McGinley. She survives.

Also surviving are three daughters, Kelley (and Larry Joe) O’Hern of Vermont, Maureen (and Glenn) Pecht and Kristine (and Marty) Ward; one sister, Erin (and Dan) Kelly; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one sister, Charlot Richards.

Before retiring, he was in advertising sales for Fairchild Publications.

Services were held Saturday at St. James Catholic Church in Arlington Heights. Burial was in All Saints Cemetery in Des Plaines. Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd. in Arlington Heights was in charge of arrangements.
