Richard Huntley

Richard Huntley, 80, of Loraine died at 9:50 a.m. Feb. 19, 2023, at his residence.

He was born Feb. 28, 1942, a son of Robert and Della Thomas Huntley. He married Barbara J. Bottorff on Dec. 5, 1970, in Rushville. She preceded him in death on April 19, 2021.

He also was preceded in death by one sister, Karen Hendricks.

Surviving are one daughter, Susan Huntley (and Darrin Weishaar) of Beardstown; one brother, Ron Huntley; two sisters, Mardell Leerhoff and Marlene Shoup; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Worthington Funeral Home in Rushville with Reverend Stacy Tomich officiating. Burial will follow in Rushville City Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to Rushville First United Methodist Church.
